Little Blessings has been raising Shih Tzus since 2002. During this time I have been mentoring a dear friend and helping her develop her program. I tell you this because my husband of nearly 22 years died last year and it has been increasingly difficult for me to raise both the alpaca and Shih Tzus at the level of care that I feel that they deserve. So Marie Morris of Elk Ridge Kennels is now taking over and continuing what Little Blessings started. Marie is a wonderful woman. She and her husband Paul share the same love for these dogs that Kurt and I did. I am still available to her as always for help and support. She and her husband have recently retired and they have more time to devote to the puppies at this point than I do.

A few words from Marie Morris of Elk Ridge Kennels:
Paul and I have been raising these loving dogs for some time now. It never stops amazing us at the number of our puppies that go to homes because of referrals from someone who has come in contact with one of our previously adopted puppies. We do our best to ensure that the right dogs go with the right person and there is a match. Shih Tzu's just want to be loved and love you back. We have continued to improve our line with quality dogs and to improve our facilities. Now that Paul and I are retired we will be able to speed more time with ours dogs and are looking forward to talking to you about them.
