GoldRocks has been loving, raising, and breeding the greatest and most
intelligent breed for twenty five years. We are located in the Hartland/Fenton
area of Southern Michigan. Our Goldens enjoy our 23 acre farm with kids, horses,
and cats. GoldRocks goal has and always will be to produce healthy, happy,
superior golden puppies, free of hereditary problems, who will grow with their
families and provide as much love, affection and happiness as our dogs provide
to us. Our dogs exhibit the true golden qualities: gentleness, honor, and their
"sterling" character. GoldRocks Goldens have all health clearances and puppies
come with a complete lifetime guarantee. You also have an obligation when
purchasing a puppy to provide proper nutrition, environment, love, and care. Our
puppies come with a complete puppy package which includes everything you will
need for puppy. Our puppies require only love and warm understanding when
transitioning
from GoldRocks to their new home. Our puppies are highly socialized from
children, adults, animals, and with frequent trips to stores, parks, cities,
farms, nursing homes, athletic events, lakes, and schools. We are proud of our
reputation but most of all our puppies and dogs. We are very pleased to announce
one of our females GoldRocks Sweet, is now a Leader Dog mom and part of their
breeding program. Leader Dogs for the blind is a not-for-profit organization
that services the blind and deaf/blind community throughout the world, which
represents the ultimate example of the human-animal bond. We are justifiably
proud. On Feb.11,2003 GOLDROCKS "TRIX" was the 12,295th Leader Dog to graduate
and on May 2, 2003 GOLDROCKS "Princess Girly" was the 12,347th Leader Dog to
graduate from this special training school. With these dogs, two more deserving
people have a promise of a future returned.. a future with grace and human
dignity and we congratulate them on their success. Leader Dogs for the blind
also has a second GoldRocks dam, "Trix" and "Girly's" sister Heidi in their
breeding program and we feel honored that we thru and with our dogs could
contribute to such a winning, worthwhile organization. We have puppies available
starting at 8 1/2 weeks and older puppies who have their elementary training
available for those who want a puppy but are unable to spend the time needed
every day to "puppy train".
We
have dogs in all types of service placements: Police, wheel chair assist, guide
dogs for the blind, seizure assist and seizure alert, lukemia detection, autism
partners and our extended family companion homes. ABOUT GOLDEN RETRIEVERS:
Golden Retrievers were first bred in 1867, from a Yellow Retriever and a Tweed
Water Spaniel, that offspring was later combined with the Irish Setter and the
Blood Hound to become what we all know and love as the true Golden. The golden
is hardy and eager in the field, and equally speedy on land and water. The
Golden nose while being the best love thermometer around is also so honed it can
detect drugs and bombs as well as recover game, and is used extensively in
search and rescue as well as Leader dogs. GoldRocks Goldens are currently
involved with police dept.'s and search & rescue training as well as Service
dogs. Our hearts are with them. GoldRocks would love to help you add the next
member to your family. We personally deliver our puppies. This benefits all,
most importantly the puppy. We look forward to hearing from you, Kimberly Schulz
