Hallmac Kennels is known for producing calm and loving family pets that "turn on" in the field. A commitment to quality and high standards has produced versatile GSP's with excellent temperaments. Our GSP's have a high level of natural ability which result in excellent pets or hunting, field trial, agility and conformation winners. The outstanding pedigrees (which are recent as well as go back many generations, include German Shorthaired Pointer Hall of Famers as well as AKC & NAVHDA Titles) are a proven factor in these GSP's which possess style, intelligence, stamina and a tremendous willingness to learn.

Our 2005 pups have excelled in the AKC and NAVHDA tests, receiving top scores in the AKC Tests and perfect scores of 112 points in the NAVHDA Natural Ability Test. The more seasoned veterans have continued their title pursuits as well. The following is an e-mail received from a proud owner who did not train his pup at all beyond basic obedience. He got his AKC Junior Hunter Championship a couple of weeks later:

Hi,
Grand qualified both Saturday & Sunday. He's 3 for 3. One more test left before he becomes a junior hunter! I brought my wife to watch Sat. and Sunday she got to see the real Grand I brag about. Grand pointed two birds that were not near the field. I didn't know it but I could have fired a shot there. After I called him we made the first turn toward the bird field. Again 200 yards before the bird field he made his first point the bird flushed and I shot. A little further he stopped again, pointed I shot #2. The next bird was found 10 secs. later and the Judge said get your dog. So I called him off a point in the woods and he came out of this hole in the bush and I put him on his lead. We are still 60 yards from the bird field. Grand was scratching like a pit bull in a ring trying to get into the bird field but already did more than enough. I met Manny who also qualified! Great day for Hallmac dogs. His dog is beautiful. Vivian is starting to get into it now, these events are fun and the people are nice.

When our pups leave to go to their new homes, they are at least (depending on cold weather) paper trained. Both the pregnant and nursing mothers, and the pups beginning at the start of the weaning process 'til they leave, are given nutritious, home-prepared meals. We encourage our new owners to continue feeding in this manner until at least 16 weeks of age, which is the important brain growth period. Though nutritious dry food is adequate, this extra nutrition really becomes evident in their intelligence development.

Our pups/dogs are 100% guaranteed and are vet checked twice before they leave here. We currently have traditional, rare solid liver and very rare solid black pups available.
