Brownwell Kennel

English Springer Spaniel puppies available. Brownwell Kennel is located in Wilmer, AL, near historic Mobile, AL. We are a close driving distance to many Florida and Mississippi vacation areas. Visitors are welcome to come see our adult dogs and pups. Please call for an appointment.

All pups are bred with temperament and overall bench style in mind. Having a family with children in the household helps to make our choices of temperament and attitude in our adult dogs of the utmost importance. They are perfect candidates for obedience, agility, and even therapy. A few have even excelled as companions in the field.

The puppies come with a one year written health guarantee, full registration, health certificate and up-to-date shots and wormings. They have also had their tails docked and dew claws removed. Our puppies will grow to be an average of 35-50 lbs, which is within breed standards. Size is determined by the size of the parents and bloodline.

Springers have been a large part of our life for 22 years. Brownwell's loyalty is to this breed. The English Springer Spaniel is the only breed we raise. In our opinion, this gives the dogs the best chance of having the traits that someone would look for in a Springer, because there is only one breed standard to focus on. Look for a breeder that specializes in one breed. Springers are great family dogs and get along well with people and most other household pets, including cats. All of our dogs are registered with the American Kennel Club, the only registry that we offer. We are currently having all of our adults OFA (hips) tested and eye CERF'ed.

We do fly puppies if needed on pet friendly, Delta Pets First. This method is safe and reasonably priced. The total cost is usually $250.
