Sherlock Brittanys

Sherlock Brittanys was established in 1985. They have owned and hunted the Brittany for over 3 decades and produced their first AKC registered litter in 1985. Today their dogs are enjoyed in the home and afield from coast to coast. They are proud of the results of their selective breeding program and are reminded regularly with positive feedback from clients. They have produced many class companion gundogs, American Brittany Club Futurity winners, and accomplished Field Champions. They know they are producing a class Brittany, one whose natural qualities have been preserved and culminated into a bird hunting machine with personality.

The Brittany makes a wonderful family pet and field companion. It's intelligence, warm and affectionate personality, natural pointing and retrieving instincts, and trainability make it a pleasure to own. The Brittany is sometimes referred to as hyperactive. Sherlock perceives this as a big-hearted, high-energy dog that lives to please. The experience Sherlock has attained over the years has prepared them to guide and instruct new owners on the proper care and "how to" steps required to develop that cute, loving pup of promise into a disciplined family member and productive hunting companion.

Sherlock puppy prices start at $500. They ask a $100 deposit to reserve a pup. Their pups leave the kennel with a written 30 month guarantee. They dock tails when necessary and remove dewclaws at 2-3 days old, begin preventative worming at 2 weeks, and give the first of a series of puppy shots and tattoo at 6 weeks. They prefer that you visit their kennel and select your puppy at 7 weeks of age. They realize this is not always possible so will assist in the selection process and ship pups, weather permitting, at 8 weeks.
